Clean Air is a basic human right, and Accessibility to events that Prioritize Clean Air and Disease Control should also be considered a basic human right, without any argument. This is a long-standing issue that has been ignored in Disability Justice circles, and has only been recently put into the spotlight because of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. It shouldn't be up to the individuals most severely impacted by Climate Change, Air Quality Issues, and the COVID-19 Pandemic to educate you and push for better Public Health Responses regarding these matters. Yet here we are, and here I am.
As a service to Our Community I am aiming to help gather those of us who are most severely impacted by these issues. I'm not a miracle worker, I'm not rich, and I'm certainly far from perfect, but I have been involved in efforts to support this pocket of the community, and am now reaching back to my home world -- the Kink Community.
Why should we stay home when we want to meet other people in our community, too? How do we do that from a harm reduction standpoint? How do we navigate the hodge-podge of misinformation coupled with the alienation of ableism in our communities? Well, for starters, I'm providing this Clean Air Resource.
